The fair among Minsk auto factory and China’s auto, parts and accessories enterprises was successfully held on February 13th, 2009 at China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). The fair was co-organized by Council of China Auto International Exhibition Tour and Byelorussia Association of Industry and Commerce.
The foreign delegation is composed of the director of factory, technical director, manager of foreign trade, etc.. The delegates from more than ten enterprises from China, such as SINOTRUK, Beiqi FOTON, etc. took part in the fair.
Minsk auto factory produced 25,000 heavy duty vehicles in 2008, 90 percent of which were exported to Europe and South American nations. The director of Minsk auto factory, Lyusikov Vladimir said that this year is the first year of the global financial crisis, the Minsk auto factory will pay more attention to the African and Asian countries, which are less affected by the financial crisis. Among the countries, China keeps fast economic growth. What’s more, it is relatively cheap to establish factories in China. Therefore, we are so interested in the Chinese market.
Besides showing warm welcome to the Minsk auto factory, the leader of SINOTRUK expressed the hope to look for partners and to set up factories in Byelorussia. Compared with the enterprises of Byelorussia, China’s enterprises enjoy the advantages of technology, price and outstanding cost-effective products. Obviously, it is wise for Minsk auto factory to cooperate with SINOTRUK to set up factories.
Except SINOTRUK, Beiqi FOTON also showed its wish to cooperate deeper with Minsk auto factory. FOTON is the partner of Mercedes-Benz of Germany, setting up factories to produce engines for the world-famous vechile captain of the industry. Both FOTON and Mercedes-Benz hope to expand the market and set up factories in Russia. The opening cooperation mode welcomes the Russian factories to join in. Definitely, Minsk auto factory is an ideal partner.
Minsk auto factory was quite interested in the advices of SINOTRUK and Beiqi FOTON and reached a consensus with these enterprises. The leader of the factory also said that it is a good idea for the both sides to visit each other to establish long-term communication mechanism and discuss the details of further cooperation.
